is there a way to REMOVE the existing pillar post trim and THEN put a new one on? Instead of putting a new one on top of the old one?

Hi. What about the back of a Velar where the automatic hatch is? Are there panels for that too?

What about the faded front and rear pillars? They don’t seem to make those. Just a replacement 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great video bro. You can also buy a chrome vinyl wrap and stick them to the pillars (what I did to my Nissan Patrol with faded outer Pillars) . Chrome vinyl wraps come in various sizes and length so it's also cheap and easy to install. And also Chrome pillars makes it more modern, since most new SUV's have chrome pillars right from the dealers. But black do great on your suv by the way!

All these videos say replace when they are restoring or overlaying.

I wonder if the overlay tape could ever come off without damaging the pillar. I had got a chrome pillar look and over few years it got so ugly, cracks ect. I just replaced the whole pillar clip with used ones from junk yard and still have my original ones with that ugly chrome overlay piece wondering if I could ever pulled the tape off

How have these done over time? Has there been any peeling or coming off over time and car washes?

What about when you want to remove, does it leave damage, discolouring etc?

I bought these same pillars. Followed all the steps and on very hot days they peel off. These are NOT permanent solutions

These are terrible - I bought some and they are super think and look really janky. Better to either replace the b pillar trim with new ones or to remove them and have them wrapped as a better fix

Looks great standing proud of the bodywork like that - not.

What a joke. How do you replace it? You're just covering it up. The wind will probably blow that off in a week😂
