Used to use these. Not anymore, they hinder distance casting, you can hear the line hitting it and slowing things down. I have to take them off for big casts, which is an extra pain and extra wear on the band that secures it. Gardner sensi clips are neater but don’t offer the free running option

well nice video. but what do you really need them for? what is the advantage of using them - Carp/Pike fishing ?

Havent used the line clip but do use an EV Plus with hanger. Has saved my bacon with dropbacks and back runs of pike too many times to remember! You pay's ya money and make ya choice. I've bought cheap and paid twice too many times, the higher investment works for me. YMMV.

These clips have no use whatsoever in predator fishing! especially for pike and eels, and maybe cats.

Top alarms guys, but line clips for predator fishing! cmon.
