For question 4 aren't you supposed to just see that a^2 (squared) is the only positive expression so will be larger than any negative number. Also if (a < -1) its square will always be greater than 1 - you have said a^2 < 1. For example if a = -2 this is less than -1 and its square is 4.

gcse is in 2 weeks im soo scared because i need to get a 6 in maths for my sixth form but maths is just a tricky subject i dont understand it even after wizzing throught your videos and the gcse maths tutor nothing seems to be helping my brain cant understand maths i keep making sily mistakes at past papers which im scared will cost me on the real thing

i did tan(62) times 5 and my calc it says -5.48 but the answer is 9.40 i'm confused
