He can possess and own a firearm if he hasn't been convicted of a felony, if the judge took it down to a misdemeanor, then after he done his time and probation he (under the 2 nd amendment) could get another firearm LEGALLY because he wasn't convicted of a felony so TAKE IT UP WITH THE JUDGE

This is exactly what people want. Release criminals from jail because it’s against their rights. Then you are shocked when a criminal breaks another law? You cannot have it both ways. You can’t complain for softer punishment for criminals and then be outraged when they break the law again.

What criminals will always get guns no matter what most crimes that happen with firearms happen by someone who either purchased the firearm illegally or wasn’t supposed to have one in the first place very rarely are the weapons in the killers name.

As a legal safe practicing responsible firearm owner and a ccw licensed holder. If you commit any crime with a firearm for any unjustifiable reason those rights should be revoked. As well as voting rights regarding any measures regarding firearms in my humble opinion.

Being charged and being found guilty of a different crime, no matter what the initial charges is 2 complete different animals. Now, depending on the level of the misdemeanor you would be able to still purchase a firearm.
