Great ideas! The eyes of the real rancor were ball bearings, so I went for silver paint instead, bht your saliva idea was great!

Good advice with the clear Gorilla glue and it works like a charm obviously. Only Gorilla glue I've used in the past for radio control hobbies was the original kind and the white fast drying Gorilla glue. And both of those glues would foam up and expand when drying which is great when gluing foam together. Didn't know about this variation of Gorilla glue, gonna have to check it out

Hollow makes sense. It would be too heavy otherwise, creating additional problems, and I would expect hollow to be more difficult to produce than a solid cast.

What would you recommend doing to the jabba statue to enhance the drool? His drool is more of a green/yellow tint

Another random question for you if you have the time. I am still waiting on the lights for my moducases which never came. How big are the cables / which type of connector do they have that has to go through the holes in the back panel. Is it impossible to fit through once built? I am debating putting my statues in now or waiting for the lights to fully set it all up

Awesome huge piece and love your tips on the Gorilla glue! Will have to use that someday. At first I thought maybe hot glue for something less permanent, but if you want permanence, your route looks best. Can't wait to see you upgrade this to a 1/6 scale version in a couple years! Haha..!

That was not very nice sticking Wicket in his mouth! ;) He should have met someone more his size...fantastic statue. You can see really many more details than with all of the action in the movie (that is why I appreciate well-made statues/action figures). Never saw that he actually has a back plating. Thanks for showing.

Yo danoby have you ever dealt with moducase customer service I just received an order from them that was chipped and damaged before even being taken off the ups truck with holes in the boxes and I’m a bit worried

The face is weirdly undertextured to me. The rest of the body looks pretty good, but the face, specifically the mouth area looks rushed and unfinished.
