Hey man! AMAZING work you do here in this channel! I am the one who sculpted and design this statue for Sideshow Collectibles. This Rancor creature was created by none other than Phil Tippet, the master of creatures and dinosaurs for Jurassic park. So, one amazing detail, the creator himself said that this version of the Rancor was even better in some ways than the original one he did. And that is huge for me as an artist . It's made of Fiberglass ( just like the Venom bust you hated so much) So it's not PVC or cheap plastic! Here is what Wiki says ( for your info) Cheaper and more flexible than carbon fiber, it is stronger than many metals by weight, is non-magnetic, non-conductive, transparent to electromagnetic radiation, can be molded into complex shapes, and is chemically inert under many circumstances. Applications include aircraft, boats, automobiles, bath tubs and enclosures, swimming pools, hot tubs, septic tanks, water tanks, roofing, pipes, cladding, orthopedic casts, surfboards, and external door skins.

All things equal, $1300 is not bad. That thing is freaking insane. Just like darth maul, limited screen time, limited/no speaking parts and TONS of on screen presence.

Grats. I'll never forget that scene where the Rancor chewed up that Gamorean Guard. All you saw left was his hand.

This Rancor is such a beast. What a menacing looking creature. Looking at your assembly, where did you buy it at Akia. I would never would think you needed nuts, washers, and screws to put a statue together. It would be understandable if it were one of those large Transformers peaces, but a Rancor. I love that in the base with the all of the wast from what he eat before, you see the bone that Luke Skywalker grabs and stick in its mouth. Preventing it from chomping down on Luke. That is a well done and fenominal rendition of the Rancor. It is impressive and will definitely turn heads. Thats what she said.
