Take control of a settlement of the first modern humans, guide them through the ages in their struggle for survival.
Dawn of Man is a survival/city-builder from the creators of Planetbase.
The game starts in the Stone Age, and takes you up to the Iron Age, spanning more than 10,000 years of human prehistory.
You will have to get your people to survive, expand and evolve, just like our ancestors, facing the challenges that the environment will throw at you.

Animals were a vital source of food and resources for ancient humans. Use their meat to feed your people and their skin and bones to make clothing and craft the tools you will need to stay alive. Confront Mammoths, Wholly Rhinos, Ancient Bison, Megaloceros, Cave Lions and other species that roamed the earth at the time.

Collect a variety resources from the environment, fruit, berries, water, wood, flint, stone, ores. Use them to prepare food, to make tools and to build structures in your settlement.

I have clothes but they won't wear them, I have food but they don't eat it, they're tired but they won't sleep, they take out a cart with only 3 slots to gather logs, they won't equip up to date weapons.
It's god damn annoying

I think the worst thing in this game is that the building placement rules are just too restrictive. You have this stupid mountains all over the place and a slight inclination in the terrain makes it impossible to build anything, you have a severe lack of flat terrain in the maps. You need to struggle to find a place to build at some point, things don’t fit and there is no enough space and it’s very annoying and frustrating. And these stupid farms, I really can’t understand why they’re so difficult to place, sometimes it’s just dumb to not be able to place them in some places. Those Cairns and Stonehenge’s then, after you’ve build farms and buildings all over the place it becomes impossible to fit them anywhere near your town. And also we have the raids, and I honestly find them just too stupid. Dudes with bows and arrows, swords and spears tearing down stone walls and freaking reinforced towers and gates like they’re butter, that’s just stupid. They need to nerf these raiders, make them weaker against defensive buildings, they may throw fire in standard buildings but they bring ladders and rams to fight off walls and gates. Maybe scorpions and catapults. It’s ridiculous, the colonists take half a summer to deconstruct a tower but raiders take it down in a matter of seconds with swords, spears and arrows. They seriously need to work on that. Another thing that annoys me is the lack of control you have with the vils, you just can’t control the kind of weapons they’re using, you can’t tell them to repair a building. It would be very useful to make a priority control to all activities just like they did in rimworld, it would be perfect.

Besides that great game, I look forward for future content, hopefully being able to build ships, armor, chariots (because there’s no difference between horses and donkeys at the moment) and maybe siege equipment (at least for raiders). If we could have other tribes settling in the place being friendly or for to you, that would make the game even better, then we could be the raider instead of just defending. Or even send our own traders to their cities. Some stuff to make your city more beautiful like benches and flowers perhaps. Let’s see
