This is what I love about Bill. He's a liberal that can actually criticize bullshit even when it's coming from the liberal side without putting his blinders on. I wish all liberals were this open minded.

I may not agree with Bill Maher on everything, but at least he is fair and calls out the idiots that claim to be on the same side. I respect that.

I'm starting to really like Bill Maher---- he's made me realize I am not a conservative. I am a liberal who can't stand political correct bullshit, and liberal idealism in place of truth.

Ignoring Left Wing and Right Wing politics for a moment, my biggest problems with SJW's are their _constant_ attempts to censor people who have different opinions from their own. You aren't allowed to tell certain jokes, you aren't allowed to make certain references, you aren't allows to do this or that. All the while they're claiming that they're doing it because the people their "defending" are being *oppressed* by society.
You know, I'm Native, and a lot of the older people in my family are residential school survivors. They had their language and culture forcibly taken from them against their wills, in a nation-wide attempt to silence an entire population. To me, *true oppression* starts when you try to *control* what people *can and cannot do*. It starts when you try to *censor people*.

I'm honestly a bit worried as to there something as simple as _freedom of speech_ will go if this big "political correctness movement" has its way. We're already at a point where we're walking on egg shells, because at any moment SJW's will start attacking you for _thinking a certain way_ or _expressing a certain thought_. I fear for a time when all creativity, humor, and expression are lost to political correctness. Goodness, people have already *lost their jobs* just for saying certain words or making certain comments.

Now, I'm not a religious man, but I think that there is still one powerful lesson that can be gained from ye olde bible: Turn the other cheek. You don't like someone? You say, "Fuck that person, " and you walk away. Live and let live.

One of the things I like about Maher is he said what he believes (which shouldn't be high praise but is in our current PC climate)

I'm appalled by the idea that somebody had to apologize for saying " All lives matter"... Isn't racial equality about EVERYBODY being treated equally? How can being considered equal even be a negative thing?

Bill lost me with all the love Hillary hate Trump hypocrisy. But this clip reminded me of why I really use to like Bill.
