Good day. Nice video Sir. What your thoughts on using this single powershell command to move all roles in a single shot?

-Identity “<your domain controller>” -OperationMasterRole 0, 1, 2, 3, 4

Specifies one or more operation master roles to move to the specified directory server in Active Directory Domain Services. Possible values for this parameter include:
PDCEmulator or 0
RIDMaster or 1
InfrastructureMaster or 2
SchemaMaster or 3
DomainNamingMaster or 4

I'm It looks to me like you are on the ws2016 server and are requesting to connect to the ws2016 server??? I thought the transfer must be FROM the 2012 R2 and TO the ws2016 server?

what if primary domain controller has goes down or crash or offline, but I sill have ADC/Backup (DC02) domain controller running that have replicated from DC01. How to seize FSMO/Operation Master ?

Hi MSFT Admin, Could you know why after i did this step and decommissioning is not performed, from the client still resolve domain with old IP of DC ?
Do you know what is the reason about this ?
