As a customer, I've had really honest servers tell us things they just should not. I'm always surprised at what people volunteer. Not just in the food biz, but in every biz - we've had people come to our house to quote work who tell us about their relationships, health issues, etc. as we just look at them and nod. I think sometimes people's honesty or need to be truthful just spills out of them. Of course, I mostly eat at home because - hey - they just told me all sorts of things that warn me to not eat there ("wait for the new rice - I don't want to bring you the rice that's back there now" and "don't order that"). Hey, I appreciate the honesty, honestly! Go Scube go!

I actually got food poisoning at one of my favorite places several weeks ago. I was sick as a dog for 3 days, and It took me about 10 days afterwards to recover from it fully. I am so reluctant to go back there again. I'd eaten there for years before this happened.

Me and bro did find a couch roach once and one time we found part of a metle scrubber in our pizza dough, but both times they were super nice and gave us the food for free, and the manager of the pizza place gave us her card and told us if the kids had to go to the hospital send them the bill and they would pay, she also made us two extra large pizzas and sent them home with us, she made it herself to make sure it was ok,

I worked at a supermarket in the seafood/meat dept. One of the butchers was getting the display case ready in the morning and brought a huge tray of freshly ground beef out. I served customers that ground beef all day when the butcher came to me as he clocked out and said laughingly, "oh yeah, I forgot to tell you I lost the Band-aid on my finger this morning as I was pulling the ground beef from the big grinder..did you happen to find it today?" I wanted to throw up and walk out the door. My poor customers!
