Supposing their 87% figures is accurate, this just means that Russia was able to complete rebuild its entire army from scratch into one that is two to three times bigger than its original size within little more than two years. And this army, armed with little more than shovels - another thing Western intelligence told us so it must be true - is holding back a Ukrainian army outfitted with the best of NATO's toys, including Abrams, Leopards, Challengers, HIMARS, ATACMS and more. And Russia did it with an economy 1/10th the size of NATO's member states.

Russia's respawn ability is overpowered. No wonder the West is anxious.

If Russia fires 10 times more artillery, and 75% of casualties come from artillery fire. Then Ukraine must have suffered at least 5-10 times more casualties than Russia, if you think Russia misses more often, which it actually does not. These are facts of war

You are misunderstanding the statement regarding the loss of 87% strength. The statement is that of the original force, your figure of 45, 000 personnel would be ignoring the new forces raised therefore the statement suggests that 45, 000 troops in addition to all mobilized personnel hold the entirety of the frontline still over 300k assuming absolutely 0 casualties of the mobilized personnel. All of that being said it’s an absolutely absurd statement to be made there’s no way 87% of the Russian military was destroyed in Ukraine. And there’s no way the United States government can tell the truth, the US government couldn’t find its ass in the dark with a flashlight, compass, and written instructions.

It is pretty disingenuous to count casualties without distinguishing between KIA, WIA permanent disability and WIA with recuperation and return to battle. Drpending on the mix, you could have the same 350, 000 casualties with very different consequences for Russia's strength. Shoigu once said IIRC that 90 percent of their WIA are able to return to fight. Even if the true number is 70 percent, and taking 70k as the KIA count it still means that 200, 000 of those 350, 000 casualties can recover and rejoin the battle. Ukraine otoh has very high KIA and lost limb WIA due to bad medical evacuation and treatment.
