I'm a Catholic now. I'm sharing this with my ACNA Anglican wife. Both of us were SBC Baptists for 30 years. Great video!

Back when I was first studying Catholicism, I considered Anglicanism for a brief time. I came from a Baptist background as well. But I wanted to be absolutely certain before I switched, I didn’t want to bounce from denomination to denomination. So glad I came home to the Catholic Church.

When I was very young I left the Catholic Church, I ended up wandering through various non-denominational and protestant churches. One thing stood out, and I'm only talking about the ones I participated at, was that their god seemed the god of the dead and not the living. They seemed to believe everything pretty much ended when Jesus ascended and after Pentecost the Spirit stopped and all is solely waiting on the second coming of our Lord. I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to guide me to the home of His choosing, not mine, and was brought home to the Catholic Church.

Father Ed Meeks brought 70% of his Anglican fold into the Catholic Church. He’s been a huge blessing to me. His homilies and discussions online have been very influential in my faith journey. He has a wonderful faith journey that he talked about on the show coming home.

Happy Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary/Our Lady of Victory, Trent! Prayed for you, your family, and everyone here in my Rosary today and yesterday at Mass on the Feast Day of Saint Faustina (patron saint of Mercy), commemorating the date of her passing in 1938. Saint Faustina was the first saint canonized in the 2000s by Pope John Paul II!

I have the Divine Mercy Image that says, "Jesus, I Trust in You" on my mirror!

According to tradition, the original Divine Mercy image was painted under the guidance of St. Faustina based on a mystical vision she had of Jesus! And the Chaplet of Divine Mercy was given by Lord Jesus Himself, which Saint Faustina first heard in the interior of her soul and prayed using its words when in a vision she saw an angel, who came to punish the earth for sins, and on the second day, Jesus showed her how to recite The Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and explained its great importance. In later revelations, Jesus gave promises which He associated with reciting the prayer in trust.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Hope you all have a light-filled peaceful joyful blessed week.

I was raised non denominational Evangelical. I love my home church but I don’t agree with their theology anymore. When I live alone, I plan on becoming either Anglo Catholic or Roman Catholic. God bless.

I can really see an anointing a grace flowing from Stephen Boyce. I really appreciate his last sentence about looking at these actions sacramentally even if you don’t share the view that they are sacraments but see how in all these things good is sanctifying and bring grace and holiness to his Church. This is awesome Trent, I remember what you were saying in your podcast with Matt Fradd about learning about other religions. It be cool to see a series dive into other non Abrahamic religions and rebuttal their claims accordingly.

"It's an accretion"

I'm only five minutes into the video, but I can only hear that in Gavin Ortlund's voice (love the guy, even if I disagree with him).

Lutheran here, I think the 2/3 sacrament debate depends on how one is defining the word sacrament. Love my Catholic and Anglican brothers in Christ!
