Fly Tying: Hot wire Prince

I fell in love with the Hot Wire Prince a few years back on a fishing trip where my friends and I did an awful hike into a remote river. I was catching the lease amount of fish and I didn't have anything close to what my friends were fishing so I tied on a hot wire prince, it ended up saving the day and since then I've played around with the colors and had lots of success with it.

Materials I used in the video:
Hook: 3xl Natural Bend Nymph hook (Size: 14)
Bead: 2.5mm (copper color)
Lead: .015 lead wire
Thread: Danville 70 Denier Flymaster Plus (Hot Orange)
Tail: Brown Goose Biots
Body: Brassie Ultra Wire (Red/Silver)
Thorax: Peacock herl
Hackle: Brown Hen Neck
Wing: White Goose Biots

If you don't like having the cut biot butts above your wings you can tie the wings in points forward(over the bead), trim the butts then use your thumbnail to crimp the biots into place before putting fown your last thread wraps.
