Looks great, definitely gonna try this on my marines. Also random idea, could be worth trying to use #shorts in the tags aswell, I tend to see videos get pushed more by yt with this tag and even a channel that posted every video twice one with and without #shorts and the view differences were definitely noticeable.

Perhaps start with the dark blue as a base, light blue for "shadows" and white for highlights.

Nice work. Bold highlights and dark shaders with glazing until it blends is how I do non-centerpiece troops. It looks great and takes a fraction of the time traditional painting does.
