Ok so to be honest it looks like the video that you did of this unit last week. An around 13..49 when you show the buttons and the main vol knob it still looks like your giving the bird to us. I think it's a funny as hell. Take care Dean and Fernando

TWO Questions:

• 1. In the Toslink Digital Optical setup options, can you choose the output to be Fixed at Full Level/Max Volume (-0dB), in addition to being able to set it to a Variable Level output???

• 2. Can you use your oscilloscope to test the RCA preout Voltage to see exactly at what # setting on the Volume Scale it starts to clip the output??? And also note the Voltage it is putting out just before it starts to clip???

Thanks guys, it is a great review as always. I would love to hear about the sound quality as well. Many people would stay away from this unit as it is running on an android rom. I think the functions are great . It is obvious that some installers worked on it. I wish some big name brands like Kenwood, Pioneer, etc also did that. Android is a solid software but the cheap Chinese HUs lack the quality parts and thats why they suck.I dont think it will be the case here though. I wish they had a European radio tuner option on this thing.I would be happy to try it then. 4 camera inputs, resistive SWC learning are great features. Will idatalink Maestro RR support be available maybe in the future?

Only thing that sucks is the volume and track knobs should be at the bottom trying to change the channel is going to be hard when your trying to look threw your arm

I'd like it until you never showed a bass and treble control. I don't want to have to go into the Eq to make simple adjustments for different songs. That turned me off to it.

I love it, but as is? This thing is for suckers. The cheapest I've found is 699$ for this. Non hd. No built in gps. Basic weak internal amp.

Thankfully the alpine halo 9 has been going for 499$ lately. If you only have a single din slot, maybe consider that one. But...my 60$ 4g k88 tablet does loads more than either.
