The Sims 3 really had it all...

What do you think about The Sims 3 store? Would you want something like that in the future or definitely not?

The Sims 3 store was expensive af but lowkey worth it. But if Sims 4 did this, it would absolutely not work at all. The Sims 3 will forever be the best to me, replayability is undefeated!

I lived vicariously through simmers who could afford stuff from the store. Definitely would have bought the interactive build/buy objects (like the playpen and walker) but I don’t think I would have bought anything else

For me it is Sims 3 all everyday. But Sims 4 has aspects i really enjoy and the same for Sims 2. We were spoiled with Sims 3.

I bought Sims 3 store content for the first time a year ago and have never regretted it once. There's so much stuff, I even forget what I have sometimes. If Sims 3 didn't cause me so much stress with crashes, I would play it more often.

Sims 3 was so iconic, sims 2 is close but that open world hits different

The childcare stuff, like the playpen/walker (Aurora Skies) and changing table w/ monitor were definitely worth getting. I also liked the tablet thing because sims could listen to podcasts and raise skills while doing something else that also raised skills or cared for needs (multitasking wasn’t really a thing in TS3 except for this). The worlds and half the gameplay stuff was usually pretty good, But unless you specifically wanted a “look” a lot of the CAs/decor wasn’t worthwhile.

I never spent actual money on the sims 3 store, so I never got the venues. There used to be a way to watch ads and get free points, and sometimes it would cap you at a couple a day, but every once in a while it would let you do it endlessly, and I would sit there reading or doing something else and letting those ads roll on by. I don't think I ever had a concept of how expensive it actually was because I just grinded for free points instead.

I looove the mission/assignments to get promotion at work or become more famouse etc. I miss that kind of challenge at the Sims 4

My favorite thing was the fixer up car too in the Sims 3!! I used it for every single household! I would still be playing the Sims 3 if it didn't constantly freeze up and lag like crazy, I loved that version of Sims and still do.

I always kind of liked the sims 3 store. I only bought points once or twice but you could win them through that search and find game in the loading screens and it was enough to get like an extra hair or single item after a bit. I really hated how they would advertise the items in game though, and you couldn’t turn it off. That seriously pissed me off.

I recently bought the sims 3 collection and I’ve been obsessed. It’s crazy how much better the sims 3 is compared to the sims 4. It’s truly insane but also EA is a money hoarder company, they are basically the same price as the sims 4. EA is a legit monster of a company.
