IGN

The story and dialogue are NOT being written by the same person who wrote the original FLCL anime. I feel like a huge part of the soul and magic of these characters comes from his mind. Why has no one brought this up or seemed worried about it? I love Fooly Cooly so much that having someone else write the dialogue for these characters feels almost like someone I don't know putting words in my friend's mouths.

This show was all about the trivialities of growing up. Almost 20 years later we (the generation that watched adult swim as kids) are all mid 20's now.

FLCL has been one of the most inspiring and interesting works of art I've come accross in my life and a huge part of what made it so special was the iconic music by The Pillows which fit so well. I'm so glad they are bringing them back.

I hope art style won't look too generic, the original was really dynamic and constantly changing but I'm seeing a lot less variety in this trailer. then again it is only 43 seconds long so I don't have to really go off of

So I was in elementary when I first discovered FLCL. Granted it wasn't an appropriate children's show at all. I just found it when I stayed up late watching Cartoon Network. Yet, it had such an impact on me.. I can't believe they're bringing it back after more than 10 years.
