A word of caution to the people, rain-X active component is ethanol, (ethyl alcohol, rubbing alcohol) which removes greases and wax, if its a vehicle you care about, it's not recommended as the ethyl alcohol does slowly over time dissolve into the paints clear coat. I would highly recommend to use a simpler (and cheaper) spray on, rinse off wax like a meguiars hybrid ceramic wax, it's as simple as spraying it onto a wet car, and rinsing it off with your garden hose.

Does a better job at repelling water on paint, along with a deep shine. Or any other spray on rinse of wax coatings.

Rain x complete surface protection is what i use low ethyl and will not damage clear coat or paint but will clean any surface debris while sealing and protecting..

It does seem like a good idea, however everyone including rain x says not to use it on painted surfaces.

I noticed my towel was slightly pink after doing the glass on my red car, lol. That’s just from touch a little paint on the border around the glass.

Why do they say rainx can ruin your paint job and the stuff in the car wash is different and it protects the paint.

This video will impact onto the money these car wax manufature makes!! I think rainx is bettter than ceremic coating since you don't need paint correction or regularly wax.I have always been looking for the magic, I thought it was WD40 but it is rainX!!

Thanks for the video. I had wondered how it works as a wax so I searched it and came to this video. Im glad to know it is a viable alternative to paint sealants. Why do you suppose they haven't formulated a paint sealant, though? How long does it last on painted panels before it begins to break down? Turtle Wax Ice Seal n Shine is under $10/bottle and it is one of the most durable sealants made, usually lasting 10-20 washes and that depends on many variables. I use that currently but I may try RainX. Anyway, I am thankful that you've made this video👍
