Update on the Two Headed Turtle‼️(Part 2)

Just wanted to update you guys on the Glizzy Situation‼️ (The Electric Eel)

The new tank didn’t fit into the basement 😢

So I decided to redo my detached garage for him and some other animals! His new 500 gallon tank will be dead center! It’s a long process but I have spent the last week working on it! I’m so exited to share the whole process!! 🔥

Also, for the turtles you might be wondering why they don’t have a place to leave the water. Since they cant make their mind up on which way to go we decided it would be in their best interest for me to regulate their water vs land time. I dry dock them twice a day for about 20 minutes.

Once the vet approves them for more interactive decorations I will immediately offer some to them. It’s just dangerous now since they easily tip. Also it makes it more difficult to find their food.

Im just happy that theyre not fighting over the food! With some two headed critters, they'll actually end up starving even without any intestinal issues simply because they'll fight over resources, unable to realize that if one of them eats, they both eat

Tbh most two headed animals even in captivity die in less than a month. These little dudes not only have the will to live, but also may be straight up scientific miracles with how functional they are!

Please be careful with the bloodworms! I've heard that if you don't handle them with gloves you can develop very dangerous allergies to them.

In my experience with newly hatched turtles, it can take a few days for them to develop an appetite even when they have only one head and are perfectly healthy. Bless you for giving these babies a chance and best of luck to them and you! ❤
