We managed to get a week's holiday back in N. Ireland. Due to the pandemic it had been almost 2 years since we were last back home, and it was so good to get to see our families again.
Usually our videos are about our life in Germany, but in this video we show you where we grew up, went to school, and first met - in Greenisland, Carrickfergus. And if you stick around to the end of the video you will some enchanting footage of Carrick Castle that will make you appreciate that much loved old irish folk song all the more: "I wish I was in Carrickfergus".

Lovely video. Takes me back to much happier times around Carrick and Greenisland. The driver hitting the kerb has to be my sister. Lovely trip around Ballynure brought back memories of a very dear friend who passed. I'll always have great memories of my biking days in Carrickfergus. Thank you.
