Affordable housing is much more important in SD county.

This totally seems like a status move for the area. Everyone in that area when I worked there seems to always want the status of being upper middle class or low high class. So I’m not surprised they don’t want “affordable housing” in a spot that could boost their title.

Sorry, we need affordable housing more than we need another state college campus. That state legislator and the mayor are completely wrong headed. I suspect they are caving to wealthy property owners who don't want affordable housing in their back yards.
