Holy, that web designer is crazy. It’s clear open ai is doing just more than instruct fine tuning and regular fine tuning. They must have custom templates that train a model to respond to multiple queries. There is no other way they can get these chatbots to preform so good on multishot performance.

EDIT: Yes, I agree with your appraisal about Microsoft trying to get away from OpenAI models. I noticed that at Microsoft Inspire when they very deliberately put OpenAI model alongside open source models on Azure. Writing's on the wall.
