More like this please. Huge respect! Everytime i get off a plane i thank the pilots. Coming out of hard turbulence one flight i told the crew standing outside cockpit " FIVE STARS FLIGHT, EVERYONE!"
You should have seen their faces.. beaming. Laughing too

Gone are the days when the 'little lady' stayed at home to clean and cook. And I for one, think it's a great thing!!! There are those who would prefer not to fly planes etc, and that's cool also.

I have 34.000 hours in all 5 variants of the 747! The particular model she is flying is the 800 . Still its a staggering responsibility you have in your hands. Even if it’s a cargo version or you have no passengers you have millions of dollars of technology and over 1, 000, 000 pounds maximum load in the 800. something as simple as blowing out a tire can cause a catastrophic crash on takeoff. You can tell this young pilot is very cognizant of the little gremlins that are just looking for a chance to turn you, your A/C and every soul on board and in your path…. Into A pile of charcoal briquettes! On takeoff roll a number of things must be monitored all at once (Engine out, compressor stalls, tire blowouts, control surface failures, engine fires, hydraulic failure and many others ! I might be wrong but she looked slightly nose high on rotation….. we crawl before we walk.
