I am really impressed that you all suggested that it doesn’t hurt to be generous to that lady who had a disagreement with her husband. When she called with her problem I thought you all were going to say to think of herself first, but I was pleasantly surprised with your answer. My parents were always helping people while being poor and we’ve never lacked anything. God has been so kind to us! Having an open heart for others is a key to having a full life. Generosity changes you and makes you a better person. I am living the same way, trying to be generous with what I have. You all encouraged me! Thanks!

Paid off my car using baby steps. I have a small fund saving up for the future car so I can pay cash.

What a terrible call about "should i buy a new car". I was a young man when that meandering mess started. Have to fast forward.

The handyman job seems like husband and wife need to be on the same page with how to categorize it. It is either business or generosity. It doesn't seem to work as a business item. But if it is categorized as a charitable donation of time and energy, maybe this works.

Investors looking for a steady income stream should consider stocks with a high dividend yield. This can provide a relatively stable source of income. I've bagged a total net income of $540k between September 2023 to May to 2024.

In regards to Anna's call, my ex husband used to dip into my account after we paid all bills and split what was left over. He would spend up his and then dip in mine that I chose to save. When I used to say something he used to get so upset as well. If he won't get counseling or change, the best course is to get a separate account that he doesn't have access to. We have to accept that it is the reality of who our spouse is.

the rule of 55....if you retire from your job before 55, you can take money from your 401k before 59 1/2 but it has to be your 401k with the company you retired sure if this applies if you are younger than 55 when you retire.

40:25 Spent way too long on this call. Husband wants to be charitable and she doesn’t. They need to sort it out between themselves.
