Mystery money found in wall at Lakewood Church

At least $600,000 in funds taken from Lakewood Church more than seven years ago may have been found recently by a plumber doing repair work at the mega-church.

There’s no reason why a random burglar would break in, hide the money behind the wall, and then never return.

That money was insured. That means that the church never REALLY lost it and that the insurance pay out was a bonus. And the cash portion was untraceable.

It would therefore make perfect sense if a church official set it aside, to be used later.
