A good practice in Power Query instead of adding the custom columns with conditionals you could justadd a Month Column and filter the table by the Current Month.

I may have missed this part - Is Financial Data table related to Account table? How do you make sure that the Dataflow inserts into the Account table before the Financial Data table to avoid 'key missing/not found' error? Thanks
