Typhoon Gaemi hits Chinese seaboard as authorities warn of flash floods

Typhoon Gaemi has reached southeastern China after churning across the Taiwan Strait.
The typhoon has prompted warnings of swelling rivers, flash floods and waterlogging in cities and provinces that were hit by extreme rains several weeks ago.
The third and most powerful typhoon to hit China’s eastern seaboard this year made landfall in Fujian province at 7:50 pm (11:50 GMT) on Thursday after whipping Taiwan with gusts of up to 227 kilometres per hour (141 miles per hour), some of the strongest winds recorded in the Western Pacific Ocean.

Imagine a rich continental country being hit with a typhoon and after having all preparations made before landfall still get damaged alot by a "typhoon", now imagine an archipelago of high and low islands with a poor sense of economy, limited land, almost nowhere to evacuate, limited resources, getting hit with a "Super Typhoon", getting absolutely wrecked and still survived.

My point is that no one can escape natural disasters, but those natural disasters arent equal to everyone, sometimes its more for this than that and vice versa. So, we should put our efforts in helping to those who are really in need, notto those who dont suffer as much yet still asks for help.
