I get a lot of value from 9to5Mac yet I don't have to pay to access it, because 9to5Mac is ad-supported.

The editor is being very up-front with us by labeling this video as "sponsored." They aren't pretending to be objective, unlike some sites.

I think this is totally honorable and above-board. When you see "sponsored" on a video, you can choose to skip it. Or if the video piques your interest but you're skeptical of its objectivity, you can search the web for more objective sources of info.

I tried to install it several times and on the last step when about to confirm it keeps saying ‘ check internet connection ‘ and I’m clearly connected to wifi and also tried on 4G but still says that, can someone help out pls ? I use iPhone 11pro, cheers.

For decades now, I have had Mac’s, PC’s, Chrome devices and back on Mac’s, and I have never bought a antivirus/anti Malware software. Never had issues with them either, don’t browse dodgy websites, and download dodgy stuff. Simple.
