Glad you decided to try it! I’m running Final Cut Pro X on my MacBook Pro. Love this thing.

Im an Android phone user, Huawei P30 Pro, but have always used a Macbook Pro and it's never ever been an issue, my current model is a 2019 running the Intel chip so im due an upgrade to the M1 at some point. I'd happily watch more Mac videos Xavier.

It really is amazing. I use PC for work (officing) and Mac at home for video and photo. I cannot get my M1 Pro to even get warm when editing and rendering videos and so fast and so much battery life. Could not do it the other way around!

Great video! I switched to the M1 Mac the end of last year from Windows, and love it!

I made the change to Apple nearly 20 years ago, I despised windows so no regrets. Love Apple products and how they “just work.”

I switched to iphone a year ago and now I'm waiting for my new MBP 14" to arrive. Pretty excited to try something new TBH. I'm a windows user since 1996 and I will still use it for my work via parallels.
PS. 2 finger tap for right click works also in Win11 (i use Dell XPS 9550) 😉

I found out that my friend used an iPhone for 10 years while I had to buy a Chinese knock-off every 2 years because lack of updates and malfunction. I switched to the cheaper route and bought an iPhone.

I have an iPhone and iPad. I bought a Mac mini last year to replace my Dell laptop that I was constantly had issues with from day one. I’m able to use my Dell external monitors and keyboard with the Mac mini. I used chrome instead of safari on the mini as well.. I asked a ton of questions about switching with Apple tech support which was a major deal maker for me. If you have an issue you have an option to go to the Apple store and.they will work with you. working with Dell (5, 000 miles away) was.just straight up painful. Another thing I liked with the Mac mini is that like the iPad and iPhone OS updates are a lot less painful! I kept my Dell laptop all the quad stuff such as betaflight, and opentx. You can use it on the Mac pc as well but it appears all of the fpv types (the Bardwells of the bunch) use pc and it’s easier for me to follow. The one issue is that some of the key commands are not the same. That is not a deal breaker for me. I’m. Thinking of upgrading my laptop this year as my current one is 8 yrs old. I was thinking of getting another Dell (only lighter) but after watching your blog, I may change my mind and go Apple all the way. I have till March to seal the deal!

I enjoyed watching and seeing your take on the Windows/Mac question. I am in the publishing business and have used Macs since the 80s. Tip: If you wear an Apple Watch, your MacBook will automatically log you in when you open it with no action needed on your part…just saying :))

Ha! I’m getting ready to do the same thing! Retirement means that I’m losing my company provided Windows laptop. I have had Apple phones and an iPad for years, though. Should be great for editing drone videos. Thanks for the video!

Hey. I have the 13” Apple M1 MacBook Pro. I love it. Though, I wish I had waited for the new one. Anyways, I enjoyed it. Thanks for the content and hard work.

As a 30 year Mac user, I've found it's better to park your dock on the left side of the screen vs the bottom center, it takes up less space because you have more screen space horizontally than vertically.

Welcome I have been a Mac user since 2010! I will never go back to Windows! You are worried about battery life with MacBook Pro? Let me tell you Macs last forever my daughter is still using my 2013 Mac Pro for college still going strong!

You’ll pick up all the little stuff that streamlines the experience like admin sign in options & user preferences.
I concur with your opinion of the battery life, it’s crazy.
Guess all that energy that was burning my legs is actually trippin transistors now.

I may be not there first to tell you. As the sleep management works good at Apple-Laptops you only have to restart for a system upgrade. Back from sleep the touch id sensor works.

The best switch I've ever made 8 years ago. iMac is by far a hassle-free computer.
