American libertarians are less a political party and more like a fundamentalist religious group who believe that the free market is their lord and savior. Here's why their platform might sound charmingly weird in theory, but in practice it's harmful.

So the entire video.. is name calling, baseless assumptions and false accusations. Also has such a weak narrative and shows you(and/or your writers) know nothing about libertarians. I hope your co-workers have more sense than this. If you think libertarian philosophy right or left wing, then you need to do more reading. If you think any of the people you mentioned are libertarians then you are mistaken. The Mao and Stalin were socialist (basically the same thing as communism but with surgarcoating)... Also the Nazi party but you would never want them to be labeled as such. Also you might want to study economics and psychology before dare throwing stones. The libertarian philosophy is only the non-aggression principle. That's it. The reason why it's against all the things that you say is because they are inherently violent and coercive thus against the non-aggression principle. "The market" refers to voluntary actions and/or trades between individuals usually on economic level but it doesn't have to be all the time that's all it means. Real freedom. Not perfect.
