My fibroid story: open myomectomy surgery 2024

Sharing my fibroid journey in hopes of helping other women going through this. I have 7 large fibroids that will be removed this week by open myomectomy surgery. Praying for anyone going through this🙏🏾 Thank you for allowing me to be vulnerable on my channel.

I had 22 fibroids removed in 2017 through myomectomy. Best decision ever. Sending all the healing energy. One thing that's helped with not returning was eliminating dairy.

I’m glad to come across your story here. I have similar symptoms like you since I was 18 years old and as I am older now. I can’t even go work when my menstrual starts. Gonna have my surgery to remove my fibroid next month. The thought of surgery scares me. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thank you for sharing Rosa, it is not easy to go through it. You're so brave for sharing and spreading your knowledge with us, women! I'm monitoring my fibroids too but had no idea it was causing my stomach to blow up like a balloon before my period. And i thought i was just gaining weight. 🤷‍♀️ Although mine are small but the bloating does make me look like I'm pregnant. And i get the worst back pain from it too during my period. Tysm for sharing Rosa 🥹 I don’t have fibroids but have friends who do and will be sharing! I do have PCOS with cysts and can relate to the period pain + additional symptoms. I commend you for your patience and optimism, I know sometimes the healthcare system can make it hard to stay positive but it’s better for you to always hope for the best 💙 You will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Ps. I also keloid and Kim K’s doctor himself told me to use blue light therapy. The correct kind can help prevent them and slow down growth if they’ve started
