Hi Nathan. I saw Alex Lifeson special guest guitar with Tool in Toronto in November. What a treat. He even snuck in a quick RUSH lick. Legend

I had a 19 Tacoma and I thought I loved it til I drove a new Frontier. I bought a new 23 Frontier Pro4X for the price of a new Tacoma SR5 with 0 options. Granted a didn’t drive the 24 Taco, I am very happy and so much more comfortable in the Frontier.

My biggest problem with augmented exhaust sound is that they don’t let us control it; make it a setting in the vehicle’s options screen and I wouldn’t mind it, leaving it off unless I race with it and need to know the RPM level without looking down.

With the sunroof, I don’t think the weight will make much difference for mpg but the weight is added at the very top of the truck so center of gravity and body roll are affected. Of coarse payload is affected and my biggest thing is the glass adds a bunch of heat to the vehicle even with the shade closed. Then you have the possibility for it to break or leak.

I respect that you guys are answering in this video some of the questions that folks were posing in that separate Tacoma MPG video, particularly about potential sound differences with/without the front air dam or even your lesson-learned from removing it and how that impacts the wheel well inserts.

Seat belt chime should be tied to mph as well. Under 10-15mph, no chime.

Tulsa Oklahoma Jeep dealer is advertising Gladiators at 20% off MSRP through the end of the year.

1.) Sunroofs, meh. I'd rather not have the extra weight, motor to fail, and places for water to leak.

2.) Taco Chin: leave it off since the mpg difference is nominal. Run all the bolts back in so they don't get lost amd toss that flap o' plastic in the attic or back of the garage.

3.) Electronic nannies:y wife has a new Corolla Cross, so I agree on how annoying all of the warning reminders are. I wish instead of a chime, they'd play a sound clip of the "You sure about that?" meme.

4.) Ride Quality: The street tires on the Limited should be the most compliant. All terrains, despite having more sidewall has thicker casings which decrease ride quality as does the higher unsprung weight (I would expect the heavy offfroad tires to more than offset the bit of extra weight of a larger rim on the Limited).

5.) Honda Ridgeline: The best everyday pickup for people who don't go offroad or need a ton of towing capacity. If you can set aside the ego, it will serve you well. Also, it's surprisingly quick off the line because it has a very steep first gear and the AWD just hooks up and goes. Big V8 trucks reel it in at 45+, but the Ridgeline's holeshot power surprises many fragile ego brodozers.

I love watching the drags for trucks, but one thing maybe to add to those vids would be a drag while loaded, maybe a small trailer or a skid of some kind in the bed? Love the vids none the leas

Flowmaster!

I put a Flowmaster muffler on a 1993 4cyl Ford Ranger SPLASH with a manual tranny and it sounded great! That growl was awesome!

I was one of the folks named that emailed the guys. I wasn’t going to get the truck but i ended up getting that same email and gave Tesla the 1k to see where it went. I was 50/50 until I saw one in person this last weekend. Im glad Andre and the guys got their email too, I might be keeping it.

I think the idea is to see the m-g difference when driving down the interstate at 75mph with the sunroof open vs ‘vented’ vs closed

Thanks to Andre and Nathan, Toyota's reason for the Tacoma's massive chin is clear. Toyota wants to match Ranger and Colorado's 24 mpg hwy. Chin bumps Tacoma from 23 to 24 mpg hwy.

I'd rather not have a sunroof and I hate the all glass roofs with no blackout shade cover!

I really appreciate both of your guys opinions and Nathan has a lot to say and very valuable information. I personally think if he could let Andre speak a little bit more because Andre has a lot to say.

I agree that these are the prices to stay (or get higher) any thoughts on resale value changes? I've seen a lot of discussion (here and elsewhere) about prices being too high, but won't most of us be able to recoup some of that on the back end/resale in a couple years which will help offset these increases?

Right bro good question we do not need sunroof anymore. Son was for time when people smoked and it’s just something else that can break and leak.

The dealer lots are packed, I love it.let them rot on the lot.Not paying those prices for a 4 cylinder.
