Wow I'm glad my old P85D has free charging for life... charging costs will only go up...

So I timed it, and I can add 600 miles of range in 1 minute and 35 seconds in my hybrid. I have no need to worry about 20% or 80% or playing solitaire while waiting. Gas is around $2.50/gallon in my area, so around $30 for 600 miles. You guys can do that too.

DAmn! this tells me it's not as cheap to charge at home as I would've thought. Just a lot more convenient.

I have an F-150 Lightning and it costs $40-$50 a month to charge it at home, between 8pm and 4pm. I charge between 2 times a week, sometimes 3. Public chargers cost 0.48 cents a KWH, so I prefer to charge at home.

That's pretty bad. You're essentially paying 9 miles per dollar and that price seems to be during off peak hours. With a typical hybrid you're getting about 600 miles for about 55$ in gas which comes to be about 10 miles per dollars. Now if you happen to charge it during peak hours the price would be significantly more.

dang i know this is old shorts video but still if you use supercharging all the time then you are actually spending similar amount of money for gas.... I use home charger so cost me very little

So if gas were $3.50 a gallon that’s equal to 31mpg. Not very good for the hassle of owning a Tesla

I refuel my Jaguar XJL once every 4 to 6 weeks from a half tank. Now i get 570 miles of range. Up and out in 2 minutes. Of course i pay more when traveling long distance. Beats sitting around for 30 minutes increasing ETA times. Money I have, time I don't. You sit and stay in your Tesla. Im out, i got a lot of highway ahead of me....lol!!
