For anyone wondering, in the Hadith mentioned, it mentions 10 things the Prophet (SAW) has disliked, including throwing dice. At the end it mentions that he had not prohibited them, though they are disliked so you should generally avoid them.

Edit: If you want to know the 10 things, the Hadith reads:

“The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) disliked ten things:
Yellow colouring,
meaning khaluq,
dyeing grey hair,
trailing the lower garment,
wearing a gold signet-ring,
a woman decking herself before people who are not within the prohibited degrees,
*throwing dice, *
using spells except with the Mu'awwidhatan, wearing amulets,
withdrawing the penis before the semen is discharged, in the case of a woman who is wife or not a wife,
and having intercourse with a woman who is suckling a child;
but he did not declare them to be prohibited.
Abu Dawud said: Only the transmitters of Basrah have transmitted this tradition.”

Narrated by Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who plays with dice for the purpose of gambling is like the one who eats the flesh of a pig, and the one who plays with them without gambling is like the one who dips his hand in the blood of a pig.

Thats.. Not actually how it works, it actually said haram to play game that invoice dice, because in prophet muhammad times, everytime people plays game that include dice they put a bet on it, it isnt haram it you didnt put a bet

Wait but in my primary school we used to play math games whatever with dice. So basically you get the dice and you roll it. If it lands on anything other than six then you grab a fake coin and if you land on six then you move your character up the steps. The coins give you boosts. Eg if you fall into a trap then you grab a coin and there's a math equation on it. When you get it right you can escape from the trap.

I'm just now realising that it's haram omg 😭
