This was such an awesome finale. And, the best part in my opinion, is that they both knew they didn't like each other, so it was all business, and they rocked it.

I kinda find it funny and dark at the part where the audience were laughing when they appeared with guns because they are aware that the two women have been associated with murder while Freddie just subtly laughs to himself because he's one of the few people who knows the truth.

This musical adaptation is perfectly cast. Easily the best screen adaptation of any Broadway musical.

Renee and Catherine had such duality in their roles. Roxie goes from the shy and humble sparky flame to her own sharp witty star. Velma goes from what she thought was strong and independent to truly humble and caring, being softer and happier in the end.

The best part of this? Catherine Zeta Jones was pregnant while she shot the entirety of Chicago. The only time it showed was the scene where she and Roxie are in jail and Velma Kelly is trying to talk Roxie into a joint performance should they both be released. Catherine is fairly thick bodied at that point because she was 5 months pregnant at that time. The fact that she was able to do ALL the choreography and singing and acting all at once AND be that far pregnant is fantastic.

Visually, this entire scene looked amazing, but that choreography was beyond spectacular. They really do make it look effortless.

This is flawless the orchestration the choreography and the artists who caring it out are as one, if there was anything beyond perfection this video would be it. and after 6 years it ONLY has 65 comments, I some times despair I truly do ! . Just one of my videos of 4 years has well over 800 comments and many very kind people say my video's are awesome and other superlatives BUT I am NOT in this league, this is a CLASS ACT in more ways than one.

Glad to see they used some of the original Fosse choreography but they took a lot out and I wonder why. Nothing can top what he did
