On the whole the Russian "thing" seems to be terrible forward cockpit visibility and inconsistent low velocity guns, but through the frustration sometimes satisfaction and fun shine through.

IL-28 is one of the most op cancer planes you can get. With the rockets alone I was able to take down 4 fighters in one sortie (although I actually got 7 in total that tank match). It's basically anti-everything, just need to be mindful of FJ-4s and any other AN 20mm american cannon users.

With air burst rockets I use 300 metres. In the mig 15bis ish though, I use 200m. Only problem is that if I want to engage ground targets it needs to be relatively clean above unlike vietnam, where I can risk crashing into trees that pop out just a few seconds before you crash into them.

My prediction was that it was going to be like the OTOMATIC incident, with some poor friend of his gunning him down. Definitely didn't see that coming! Did he actually survive that too?
