Christmas market in Koblenz, Germany

Germany is well known for its Christmas markets. This year, we visited Koblenz, to see if it holds a candle to the many other xmas markets in the country.

Going to the Koblenz Christmas market this Dec. I've heard a lot of vendors don't that credit card and you need to have cash (euro's). Could you please tell me if this is so or not?
