In this video I review a 2002 Toyota Camry XLE, which is the 5th generation or XV30 model sold from 2002 to 2006 model years. In this video I do a full walkaround, interior overview, cover technical specs and take it on a test drive.

Thanks to Wholesale Auto Connection for the use of this Camry!

I own a 2006 XLE. I absolutely love this body style. I feel that Toyota did an excellent job on this year model.

Bought myself a 2002 xle 4 cylinder. The thing is so smooth and easy to handle. Amazing for a 20 year old car!

I have owned a 2005 Toyota Camry SE V6 (3.3L) which has just under 300, 000km. So far I have put just shy of 40, 000kms on the vehicle and have taken it on several longer trips (5+ hours). I have really enjoyed the car and unlike the XLE, it has a sunroof and heated leather seats in the front with unheated leather seats in the back. The power out of the 3.3L engine is phenomenal (230hp and 225 ft pounds of torque if memory serves correct) and is surprisingly quick. I have swapped out the factory head unit for a touch screen JVC head unit with apple car play which pairs nicely with the factory JBL sound system. It is comfortable and well equipped ride. Anyone looking for a comfortable and well equipped vehicle as a first vehicle, daily beater, or just good old Toyota reliability will not be disappointed in this era of Camry. If you can, find the V6 models as the extra power is nice to have.

Have 2002 since new, and absolutely love the car. Reliable, comfortable, huge trunk, plenty room in the back, great gas mileage, ride, and low key. What else can you ask for?

I have a 2006 LE 3.0 V6. The V6 makes it extra special. Runs quiet and smooth and best of all it's an absolute sleeper! The 2005-2006 received the final refreshes and a 5 speed auto. I've had several V8 Lexus and the V6 Camry really Moves! It is the best car that I have owned. Simple to work on and such a relaxing stress free driving car. I have about 115k miles on it. I have many offer to buy it. I was in line to sell it for $6500 to a family member but backed out. Just not worth selling. I added a set of quality xenon light kit for vision at night. I left everything else stock.

Mike C ... outstanding video. As a car-savvy grandpa, we're a familiy of Toyota's and Prius cars now searching for a Camry for a teenage driver. Thanks for a very descriptive video minus all the crap and gimmicks.

Bought my wife a 2004 LE touring edition with about 160, 000 miles private sale 3 years ago for $2850 with service records after having it inspected by an independent mechanic. It also has the wood trim, sun roof, and gold lettering, so it’s about as pimped out as an LE can be. We’ve really only had to do some exhaust work owing to living in the rust belt. Good in the snow, drives smooth, big trunk, good fuel economy, beautiful interior, unparalleled reliability. She loves it. And we’re saving about $500/year by not having collision on it. Already it’s been a great deal and hopefully we’ll have her for several more years

I have a 2002 XLE V6 and I put in a Pioneer MVH1400NEX to plug in my apple car play which I ran an usb extender near the heated seat buttons so it looks factory (look up BATIGE Square Single Port USB 3.0 Panel Flush Mount Extension Cable). I have a back up camera and everything in it. Modern conveniences in a 2002. Best part...No payments! It's better than most peoples cars they are paying $500-$700+ a month on!

I drive mine like a V8 😂🤣😅 my 4 banger is the same one in the Video, from to LA to Big Bear and back to LA 10 bucks. Super gas saver and has no problem hitting over 100 on the freeway 😂🤣😅 one tip I can give is use the dealer type fluid for the transmission
