He was an undercover officer working on the streets of New Jersey before he started working with the FBI. In June of 2012, he got a call from his bosses. They wanted him to check out men they believed were involved in a terrorist plot to blow up a Canadian passenger train. Tamer Elnoury, who is an Arabic-speaking Muslim, was perfectly positioned to infiltrate a group of suspected terrorists. In an exclusive Canadian TV interview, an elaborately disguised Elnoury sits down with Habiba Nosheen and explains the life of an undercover agent, and the terror plot he foiled.

You're not fooling me, Jake Gyllenhaal. I know that's you!

She almost sounded like she is angry about what he did. She was so rude to him, I'm surprised he didn't get up and left. She made herself look like she was against what he was doing.

This guy puts his life on the line. This is a true hero who nobody knows of and probably doesn’t get paid nearly enough to do it.

A very bad interviewer. Sounds so unprofessional. Seems very demeaning to me. Too many sarcastic questions being asked.

Anyone else get the vibe that the interviewer was more sympathetic to the terrorists than she was to the FBI? This was almost unwatchable because of her rude condescending attitude.

This interviewer was clearly chosen for reasons other than merit or ability.

I love fifth estate but she’s my least favorite interviewer. She’s even worse on the Anthony George interview it looked like he was getting super annoyed I thought he was gonna snap on her.

This undercover agent makes a lot of sense and I’m grateful for his work (which is dangerous). The lawyers are a different story.

The interviewer seems to be uninterested in the interview and asks him such patronizing questions, 'the
sell it to me ' bad technique and bad questions especially when he's doing a favour by agreeing to be interviewed

That lawyer may laugh at his 'gut feeling' but, that's just another name for finely tuned instincts. I hope nothing else happens but, don't hold your breath. I'll go with a FBI agent's gut feeling every day.

Jaser's lawyer says there is no such thing as a military grade laser. Big, huge lie.

I ve tried to find something positive about the "journalist" throughout the interview. She is so bad at so many levels. She makes it almost unwatchable.

Awful interview technique, indeed. Her tone and voice in general are not good

This is an uncharacteristically unintelligent presentation for CBC. Interesting case, though.

right off the bat this interviewer seems very rude. her eyes and body language is very odd. almost comes off as an ambush piece. maybe its the editing... funny how they cut to her phony head nods and eye raising while the agent is talking. she shouldnt get that much screen time with her odd behavior. however she seemed more interested when interviewing the lawyers. she definitely made up her mind before the interview. this shouldnt be an opinion piece. i get a feeling that she is biased. kinda unprofessional

The tone of this interview was sickening to me. The fact that these men were plotting to kill a bunch of people and actually took steps toward it should be enough to at least warrant the respect of the undercover agent. Instead he was treated like he did something wrong

i lost interest in this because of all the stupid questions she was asking
