What happens to Trudy in Titanic?? (VERY SAD)

What happens to Trudy, Rose's maid, in the movie Titanic? Very sad ending

It's so sweet that Trudy is still be the very first one to welcome Rose in the ending scene. I think Rose really missed her, too.

When I was a kid watching this movie I always thought rose was just dreaming in the end but now as a adult, I realized she died in the end

In death Trudy is standing next to John Jacob Astor the richest man on the ship, so even if she is in her maid uniform the same class standards were not an issue in Rose's afterlife.

If you see the survivors list, alot of ladies maids did survive. I guess that Trudie died as she was waiting and looking for rose, a ladies maid would always accompany her mistress, and many did that night for support. she stayed on the ship because rose did. TRUDIE IS A TRUE HERO IN MY EYES, true ladies maid, She died looking and staying loyal to her mistress.

Trudy and Mr Andrews are my favorite characters in the movie as they both care for Rose on a personal basis and see beyond what is presented.

Rose’s evil mother does not care if she dies. Rose would have taken her with her if she could have. Trudy was always there for Rose and Rose treated her with dignity.

Rose actually died not dreaming. In a deleted scene where Jack and Rose were at the boat deck they saw a shooting star. Jack said to Rose that a shooting star mean someone will go to heaven. It will be Jack. And another deleted scene after old Rose thrown away the necklace in the ocean a shooting star appeared. Then the transition from the necklace slowly sinking to old Rose on her bed.

Her death was brutal, a stark contrast to Rose, who was basically her age but a different class. I like how they showed that duality between them.

I was so sad when Trudy died - told to wait in the room. Seeing her slide down the ship was awful! I wonder how many first class servants died because they were told to prepare for their employers' returns/find things/rescue dogs

Trudy was so sweet and innocent, I feel so bad for her, even though she’s a fictional character this probably happened to lots of people so it’s still devastating 😢

The body Lowe picks up when they're searching for survivors and an officer says they're all dead sir, they'll give way. Was Trudy's corpse. You know because she was wearing the uniform we see her in all throughout the movie

Poor Trudy! She worked so hard! I admire the dedication she has to her job. It's a shame she died in the end. She will be missed, along with all of the other people that died in that horrific tragedy. May they all rest in peace!
