thanks for the views everyone, just a update, yes this video is old, I ended up getting my money back, I didn't want to get another switch lite so I took the money. as the pandemic goes on switches are getting harder to find but luckily today I swooped one up at GameStop and got the warranty, happy to have a functional switch with detachable joy cons 🎮

Press down on the joystick and spin it for a while, thats how mine was fixed

the drift is mostly caused by dirt or something like that getting under the joysticks so it's rarely a mecahnical issue

I have the same switch lite, but the thing is I only play games that use the d-pad, so when I get a wireless controller, then I'll play games that need joysticks. Nonetheless, this joycon drift situation sucks.

Fix that may work: go to settings controls and sensores calibrate joysticks

All u need is a straw then go under the joystick and lift the rubber something then use the straw to blow the dust underneath it. Always works for me👍

Damn bro, this is why I got a normal switch. I feel you as my normal joy cons also started drifting so I had to get the split pad pro controllers.

Put it in a case. So far I've had no problems with putting my switch lite in a case every time I'm done using it. Just don't let it out so that it can collect dust.
