4.8 magnitude earthquake rocks New Jersey, New York City and surrounding areas

Just a warning from a Californian, the first few aftershocks may be close to the same magnitude as the original quake. Take them seriously. It can cause some of the minorly damaged buildings to crumble.

4.8 would we even notice that in California, LOL. I have been experiencing earthquakes for 60 years. Glad no one was injured seriously and no buildings fell down. Thank the Lord for miracles and pray that you don't have aftershocks that are bad.

Here in Hartford Connecticut we felt the same thing a little shake in our car I thought my friend was shaking his leg but no find out it was an earthquake in Hartford Connecticut 1030 11:00 in the morning
