Its a rare thing to find someone that you can be that expressive around and not be afraid to be shot down by the other person. Simon definitely has lines he wont cross where taste and decency are concerned and we see this when acts cross them.

Now that Simon is married and has a Son, I don’t think he is having an affair with Amanda. In Simon’s line of work, in order to succeed you need a lot of responsibility and integrity, and he has those qualities, and he is so smitten with his Son, I don’t think he would cheat on his family. Being comfortable and secure with someone does not mean that they’re having an affair.

Body language says everything. there has been a fling at some stage.
