C# 7 - Jon Skeet

Показать описание
In a new era of openness, and with the power of Roslyn to enable rapid prototyping, the C# team has been hard at work dreaming of new features for C# and discussing them with the community.

The precise shape of C# 7 is still somewhat up in the air, but we now have a Visual Studio 15 Preview, which gives us new language features to experiment with.
Come and learn what the future has in store, with tuples, pattern matching, ref locals and ref returns, local functions, code generators and more. Language abuse will almost certainly take place - what's the point of having a new feature if you can't twist it horribly?

In every Jon Skeet talk he always has about 57 sections to go through, and uses 70% of the time on the first one ;-)

Look at his solution explorer. There are a bunch of files. Each of those files is a short, concise proof of concept / example of how to do something or a programming concept. I'd like to have that project's source code for my own reference. I wonder if he posted it?

I would use tuples for API interface configurations such pallet color schemes and nothing of high security priority it makes a great object variable that has more advanced ability to include multiple property values.

I wonder if he has any empirical evidence for the claims he makes in the first thee minutes, they are fairly lofty. Also I find some twisted humor in how he is encouraged more women are speaking (managed / selected) but disappointed more women did not attend (unmanaged / free choice) it seems so artificial.

oh dear, Jon has gotten the Woke illness. Sorry - its not my responsibility to make women more interested in code ... it depends on individual preferences.
