C# 7 - Jon Skeet

C# 7.0 has been out for a while now - but how well do you know it? With tuples, decomposition, pattern matching, ref locals, ref returns, local methods and more, there's a lot to learn.

In this session I'll conduct a tour of all of the new features, as well as looking at when I've found them useful in real code.

Don't miss Bill Wagner's talk following this one, covering C# 7.1, 7.2 and beyond!

It came as a big surprise to hear 'TUPPLES' (or is it TOPPLES ?) from an Englishman (the land of Shakespeare).
Correct me if I am wrong:
but I oft hear it said: TUPLES as in 'TEWPLES'
According to the pronunciation rules One-P only should be said: 'T-YOU-POLLS'
I would not even attempt to correct an American speaker as they customarily like to invert what the English rules of pronunciation teach.
This is a long comment for a short word. :)

This is a good talk but does not cover ref locals/returns.
