Ultimate noob here on mixing. Thank you for gently explaining what bussing is, I now have a visualization on the concept, and you have to start somewhere.

As someone who learned about bussing way too late in their career lol... this is absolutely true and incredibly important for any aspiring producer to understand. And I think you explain it perfectly here.

Didn’t hear a thing you said the first time I played this video because I was trying to figure out why you had bright white rings in your eyes.  Crazy contacts or considering the rooms dark background maybe you were using a ring light on your camera.  Second time I played the video I just listened and understood.  Excellent explanation on bus routing. Dr. M.

when you use busses you can freeze the track in ableton cause if you have sidechained compression on the individual track then you can't freeze it. great video
