I have read all the left behind books, seen the kirk Cameron movies, and cant wait to see the new Nicolas cage movie with my kids, and wife to share the messages with them.

This looks better than the original. I think Nicholas Cage will give this film the justice it deserves.

Kirk Cameron did this same movie years ago, and it was good, im sure the graphics maybe better in this new movie though, but the original was good!

I saw the movie last week; wow; what an uplifting and inspiring movie. I plan to buy the DVD when it comes out.  When I made my Indie movie (Sisters Go Ye trailer 2 on youtube), I also pondered how to deal with theology issues.  The Challenge for movie watching Christians is to look for what we agree on in Christian movies and not what we may disagree on.   Faith in Jesus our only Savior, and feeling of His Spirit, is often enhanced by looking forward in Faith and seeing His Hand in the good.  On the flip side, seeing negative in everything in Christian movies often misses His Spirit.

As I have mentioned before, I thought Cassi and Nick deserve Oscars, as their performances keep your attention the entire time; just great acting.  Great camera work too; good framing and lighting and sound.

There isn't really strong evidence in the Bible for there being a rapture- when Jesus comes back every eye will see him and then the believers will be "caught up to him in the sky". But the good thing about the Left Behind series is that it shows people how important it is not to wait to start trusting in God. They definitely shouldn't wait until after the "rapture" because then it will be too late.

We already in the end time, look at how the world is getting worse & worse, Jesus this would be a sign, putting this movie in theaters, could bring lots of people to Christ, God could use this movie to make people realize the truth. I will pray that God uses the movie for people to know Christ.

NOt in like with my Episcopalian views but I like a good end of the world movie, heck i even like the syfy channel ones.

If the rapture doesn't take place before this date oct 3, my husband and I will probably go see this. But we are hoping and praying that the rapture takes place soon. There's another blood moon in oct on a Jewish Feast day. It's the 2nd one in a tetrad. Look it up on YouTube. A guy name Scottie has information on all of it. The Feast of trumpets is in September and will be before this next blood moon. Some believe the rapture will occur sometime in that feast because you can't tell the day or hour it begins. It's a 2 day feast and 2 witnesses have to check the new moon phase and when they see the slight sliver of the moon, they have to report it to the priest. This is why it was know as " you don't know the day or the hour". Was Jesus referring to this feast so we would have a clue? Pray
