How to use the Neural DSP Dive Bomb pedal without midi

I got asked how I use the dive bomb pedal in archetype Tom morello. Personally I like visibly seeing the separate tracks. It helps me gets grasp of the whole composition, rather than doing midi changes.

I'm pretty sure you can use automation to do the dive bomb pedal instead of slicing the track up. unless of course you used the other tracks to do very different processing

I’ve never looked it up so please don’t crucify me for this, I’m sure using MIDI is probably easier than my mind is making it seem, but I feel like using MIDI is really only necessary for playing live in order to achieve the same sound as the studio version.
