As an engineer I can really appreciate the extra engineering that Rolex has put in to its movements. I really like the way the bridges are located by dowel pins in addition to the screws. They are just beautiful to look at. Thank you.

His voice is so soothing it makes me feel like I can take apart my fathers Daytona without a hitch.

Mark, you've got to stop making it look so easy! Do you know how many wrecks you have caused, by making people like me think we can do it? Your vids are the best

Bought this same watch, Brand new in 1978, when I was in the military. Still have the box, all the paperwork, and the sales receipt. I paid $500 for it. It's been a great watch, I wear it to this day.

So many parts. I would not dare do what you are doing. I do admire your skills to be able to do what you. Also a well crafted watch

What a beauty is it on the inside with all the complications it has and all we get to see is the metal backing.

21:47 That's called a momentary loss of control over one's temper! Tssk! :D You're one of the calmest people on the planet, sir!! You're aggravatingly calm and composed!

Great video as usual. How do you keep track of different screws? Is there an industrial standard for the use of screws, or do you just store them in the order of removal? I am curious because you service many different makes/models across many decades of vintage. Thanks!

Great video man, I have a few Rolex's in my collection but I wear the exact same Sub every day as my "beater" watch. I call it that because I work in construction and yes I wear it every day, tearing down old fireplaces, breaking up concrete, framing walls....all of it, no kidding. I love the watch and am honored to wear it to appreciate it. I like what you did to bring it back a bit, I ll definitely do the same Thanks for the tips.

10:25 - Under magnification the balance cock as you call it looks very scratched on the outer edge. Is this normal for a Rolex ?

Scary! It's a talented man that can do this in my opinion.

I can see...how a feller, would derive, a great deal of pleasure, out of being able to accomplish such a feat. The British accent, is so very pleasing. Relaxing, and stress free...like sitting in a sauna. Two thumbs up. You have a new subscriber. 👍😎👍
