I couldn't find the video you're talking about, is it out yet?
the reason I'm asking is, I want to align 2 items in a flex box independently (1 left /start, 1 centered) and it doesn't work with the align-self feature with bricks. This seems like a pretty basic issue but I can't figure it out

Awesome. Even this video has cleared up so much about the Bricks interface. I couldn't figure out why 'align main axis' and 'align cross axis' seemed to keep changing on me. Turns out they *were* changing for me based on Flex Direction. Thanks so much for clearing this up for me.

Great video linking flexbox to the layout directions in bricks. The use of visuals used in code pen really help to make the connection. I agree if people invest the time to understand how bricks flex layout built on flexbox, it will save them loads of time in the long run and really help them understand and use the flex layout in bricks. I look forward to your next video on the topic.
